Collar can be sold with core holding chuck for applications which
require holding the ID of a roll of raw material on a shaft that is
smaller than that of the roll's core.

Holding rolls on pay out and take up units as well as quick adjustments
of width guides.

A-11. Composite structure
mfg: Core holding supply packages of heavy fibers such
as kevlar, carbon fibers and S-2 glass on creel tensioners. Replaces
threaded core chucks commonly used in this industry and slides over
then tightens on threads. This type of creel is used in "filament
winding and prepreg manufacturing, outside pull creels" and works
on both right and left hand threads. Color is pressed into an aluminum
core holding chuck.
In other words, almost anywhere that a conventional shaft collar is used,
a Grip Fast can also be used.
